Betty Jaco Betty's love for the Australian Shepherd was evident in the summer of 1971, when she met her first Aussie (named Tillie). After having German Shepherds for many years, getting one of those little blue dogs was foremost. In 1987 a black tri, appropriately named Tillie, joined the Jaco family and there was no turning back. Betty is an 18-year member of ASCA and the Rock River Valley ASC, which has twice hosted the ASCA National Specialty. She is also a member of an all breed training club, where she is a participant and instructor for obedience (puppy and adult), conformation, and agility. Training and understanding dogs was almost second nature to Betty after having worked with horses for over 40 years; and now the Aussies of Regatta are actively involved, and multi titled, in conformation, obedience, stock, and agility.
